Try again, but erm better

Well better late than never I suppose.  Here's a few quick pics of a prototype terrain piece for 40k that I knocked up.

The Escher gangers were kindly donated and painted by Mr.T.Bates

In related news the InstantMold arrived and I have to say this stuff is amazing!  Makes very accurate castings and it's too easily to create 2-part moulds. Seriously, all you do is boil the kettle, put the material in a bowl and cover in water for 2 minutes, take it out, shape it and press in the master.  While that cools chuck in another piece, by the time that is pliable the first part will be cured so you can mould the second piece straight over it.  This is the best bit... the second piece doesn't stick to the first at all!  A highly detailed flexible 2-part mould created in less than 5 minutes and ready for use.  Made a mistake or finished with the mould?  No problem, just chuck it back into hot water to reuse it again!
