Suppose I ought to do something gaming related...

Chaos Daemons:

Everyone loves the total randomness of this army, especially how it arrives and gets shot to pieces before it does anything... or does it?

Under 6th Ed the Daemons are viable again, even my completely fluffy Tzeentch Army is a serious threat.  This is due, of course, to that glorius little handout in White Dwarf.

Flamers of Tzeentch in units of 4 including a character are the backbone of the army, at under 100pts they are now cheap enough to take that risk and drop them into the middle of your opponents army. They've dropped to a 5+ Inv save but gained a wound so it more than balances out.

The Herald of Tzeentch on Chariot, for years I thought he lost the Independent Character rule and gained Furious Charge and a Jet pack (plus the stat increases).  Big whoops here, its actually a Jet Bike, so under 6th he can now Deep Strike then make a 24" movement in the shooting phase. On top of that he's a Fear causing character so can issue challenges!  (Yes he's still a character even though he loses the IC rule)

Flying Monstrous Creatures - i.e. Winged Daemon Prince:  What can you say about the harbinger of doom?  It can class as Swooping from the moment it Deep Strikes which means its 6's to hit unless the weapon has Skyfire, with the Mark of Tzeentch he gets access to Master of Sorcery so that's 3 ranged attacks basic but we'll save points and only equip him with Breath of Chaos and Daemonic Gaze because he gets Vector Strike as the third for free!

Uber-mental. Hehehe.  Here's my list for the second round of the Sheffield and Rotherham Wargamers Club 40k Escalation campaign, I don't mind everyone seeing it because even I don't know where things are going to turn up or how the game will play.
